My education is therefore connected to a clear career plan: gain advanced knowledge, develop practical expertise, return to Nepal and apply those skills in my professional career.
In the longer term, I also hope to contribute to technology-driven businesses and digital transformation in Nepal. The combination of my undergraduate foundation, professional experience and postgraduate education will provide me with a stronger platform to achieve this goal. My family ties, existing connections, professional plans and long-term financial objectives in Nepal all form an important part of my decision to return after completing my studies.
My decision to pursue the Master of Information Technology at the University of Auckland is the result of a clear progression from my undergraduate education and practical experience towards my future career objectives. The programme's technical coursework, project-based learning and substantial industry internship will help me develop the advanced capabilities I currently seek.
I am financially prepared for my studies, understand the responsibilities associated with studying overseas and have a clear plan for applying my education after returning to Nepal.
